Glossary

Studio Ghibli :

It is a Japanese animation studio founded by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata in 1985. It produces animated features and shorts.

Japanimation :

Contraction of "Japan" and "Animation"; in other words it refers to the production of anime of Japanese origin. This term is falling into disuse in favour of the simpler term "anime".

Isao Takahata :

Japanese animated film director, born on 29 October 1935 in Ise and died on 5 April 2018 in Tokyo. He is the co-founder of Studio Ghibli with Hayao Miyazaki.

Tarterêts :

Les Tarterêts or Tarterets is a social housing district located in Corbeil-Essonnes in the north of Essonne. This is where PNL grew up in their childhood.

Joa (TrackBastardz) :

Music producer best known for working with PNL, Damso and Moha MMZ.

Yann Dakta & Rednose :

Duo of beatmakers who worked for PNL.

BBP :

One of the most renowned producers in France who has collaborated with the entire French rap scene.

Nk.F :

The band's sound engineer who worked on the mix and mastering of all PNL's projects.

Pedro Álvares Cabral :

Born in Belmonte in 1467 or 1468 and died in Santarém around 1520 or 1526, was a Portuguese navigator.

Carnation Revolution :

The Carnation Revolution, also known as the 25th of April, is the name given to the events of April 1974 that led to the fall of the Salazarist dictatorship that had ruled Portugal since 1933.

Friday For Future :

It is an international movement of young people leaving their schools, usually on Fridays or sometimes Thursdays, to participate in demonstrations for action against global warming.

Youth for Climate :

Citizen movement based in Belgium and France, part of the Fridays for Future initiative initiated by environmental activist Greta Thunberg in the fight against global warming.
